Alpine performance without excess weight: Fischer Transalp 86 CTI The Fischer Transalp 86 CTI is a modern touring ski that breaks the rule that light skis chatter on hard snow. Thanks to its advanced construction, it is capable of tackling everything from spring snow to icy couloirs with absolute confidence.

Main Features

  • Carbon Tex and CTI Technology: The ski is reinforced with carbon fibers and Titanal inserts strategically placed under the binding. This provides maximum stability and firm edge grip, allowing all power to be transmitted to the snow without the ski deforming.

  • Paulownia Wood Core: Uses selected high-quality Paulownia wood, which allows for a drastic weight reduction (only 1,150 g per ski) making long ascents much less exhausting.

  • Fischer Transalp 10 Bindings (with brake): Manufactured in collaboration with ATK, these PIN bindings are synonymous with mechanical precision. They include a 90 mm brake to comply with the most demanding safety regulations and offer direct power transfer to the ski with minimal weight.

  • Aeroshape and Tour Rocker: The curved design of the ski (Aeroshape) reduces snow buildup on top of the ski during ascents, while the Tour Rocker in the tip ensures excellent float and easy turns in fresh snow.

  • Pre-cut Fischer Climbing Skins: The pack includes original Fischer skins, made with a Mohair and Nylon blend that ensures the best forward glide and foolproof grip on steep slopes, even in extreme cold.
