Following automotive engineering principles, the Head Formula 110 LV GW handles like a sports sedan with a lowered chassis: it delivers quick acceleration and exact cornering, but features a "suspension" (110 flex) absorbent enough not to punish the driver on long journeys. They are designed for advanced skiers who have a narrower foot or prefer a snug cabin that eliminates any play in the steering.
The secret to its excellent response is its 98 mm Low Volume (LV) last, which anchors the foot firmly to the polyurethane chassis. This bodywork incorporates Form Fit technology, allowing a bootfitter to mold the plastic with heat for a custom fit. Inside, it features the 3D Perfect Fit LF liner, which integrates Primaloft® insulation to keep the engine warm and running at peak performance. Furthermore, it is prepared for the Liquid Fit system, allowing dense material to be injected into the heel and ankle to create a customized bucket seat that locks the foot in place with zero pressure points.
Aerodynamics and comfort are enhanced by the Extended Toe Box design, granting greater mobility and warmth to the toes at the front. Finished with factory-installed GripWalk (GW) soles, they ensure the traction of true winter contact tires when walking around the resort's paddock.
