The ski crampons for Fischer Transalp and Head Almonte bindings (touring crampons / harscheisen) are sold in pairs and are the essential safety component for the pin tech bindings in the Fischer Transalp / Tour Speed and Head Almonte (10 and 12 PT) series. They are the equivalent of fitting high-traction chains and studded tires to a lightweight off-road vehicle when the trail turns into sheer ice: they bite firmly into hard, wind-packed snow, eliminate any risk of lateral slipping on steep slopes, and secure challenging kick turns. Made from ultra-lightweight forged aluminum with high mechanical strength, their quick-insertion system allows them to be fitted and removed in just a few seconds without having to release your boot from the toe piece.

Touring Ski Bindings

In ski touring and technical ski mountaineering, reducing grams in your gear is essential to save energy on the ascent, but mechanical grip must never be compromised when the track changes from soft snow to an icy, impassable crust. The ski crampons for Fischer Transalp and Head Almonte bindings provide absolute structural rigidity with minimal weight in your pack. Their high-strength aluminum alloy body features stamped longitudinal ribs that prevent the arms from flexing or deforming when they take the skier's full weight on steep slopes.

The sharp profile of their lower teeth guarantees clean, deep penetration into ice sheets, directly transferring support pressure to the mountain. Their specific slot system fits perfectly into the toe pieces of the Almonte platform found in the touring range from Fischer (Transalp) and Head (Crux / Almonte). Their pivoting design follows the kinematics of each step with complete smoothness: they lift as the ski slides forward so as not to hinder progress, and bite firmly into the snow as soon as body weight is applied beneath the heel.
