The Marker Kingpin 13 (ref. 7933W1MA, 75–100 mm brake in Black / Red finish) is the equivalent of a front-mid-engine sports coupé with rear-wheel drive tuned for road and track: a hybrid freetouring binding that combines the lightness and natural stride of a pin toe piece on the ascent with the vertical retention, elasticity and direct power transmission of an alpine heel piece on the descent. With its carbon-reinforced ISI Toe technical toe piece, Kingpin Heel alpine heel piece, ergonomic climbing aids (0°, 7° and 13°), and DIN range from 6 to 13, it is the benchmark choice for skiers seeking agility on the ascent and millimetric precision when carving high-speed turns downhill.

Touring Ski Bindings

In the design of high-performance sports vehicles, reducing unsprung mass at the front end and reinforcing rear drive axle stiffness allows the nose to carve into a turn instantly without losing composure under heavy loads. The Marker Kingpin 13 brings this configuration to ski touring and aggressive freetouring. During the ascent, the technical ISI Toe toe piece reduces ski tip swing weight and makes stepping in easier thanks to its rubberized stop, which guides the boot inserts correctly on the first try, enabling smooth progress without mechanical resistance.

When the central switching lever is engaged in downhill mode, the binding reveals its true alpine performance: it replaces the usual touring pins with the Kingpin Heel heel piece, whose wide-base jaws press the rear boot welt toward the ski surface. This design eliminates any unwanted flex or delay in edge transitions, channeling energy directly into the skis. It features a dynamic flex compensation mechanism that absorbs ski deformation under compression, integrated titanium risers switchable with a pole (0°, 7° and 13°), a 75-100 mm brake, and official TÜV safety certification in accordance with DIN ISO 13992:2014.
