Freeride Big Mountain Skis Völkl Confession (117390, No bindings)
The Völkl Confession big mountain and freeride skis (ref. 117390, length 179 cm) are supplied as standalone skis without bindings included (flat format for custom drilling and mounting in a workshop). They are the equivalent of a Dakar racing machine with an aluminum monocoque chassis, reinforced stabilizer bars, and competition shock absorbers: designed to fly over untouched powder, devour chopped-up snow at extreme speeds, and deliver crushing stability on demanding vertical descents without a single tip vibration. Equipped with a 117 mm waist, 144-117-133 mm dimensions, a 21 m radius, Titanal Band central reinforcement, Carbon Stringers reinforcements, a solid wood Multi Layer Woodcore core, continuous Full Sidewall edges, and a competition-grade P-Tex 4500 base.

Freeride / Freestyle Skis
In the design of off-road vehicles developed to maintain top speeds above 180 km/h over broken terrain and dunes, reinforcing the backbone of the chassis with titanium alloys and carbon-fiber stringers makes it possible to withstand brutal compression without deforming the steering or losing traction. The Völkl Confession in 179 cm (117390) brings this structural strength to the high mountains. Its chassis integrates Titanal Band technology: a longitudinal titanal strip running along the ski’s central axis to dissipate unwanted vibrations and pin the ski to the snowpack with unquestionable solidity, complemented by Carbon Stringers carbon filaments that provide immediate responsiveness and torsional rebound.
Its internal Multi Layer Woodcore combines dense beech wood strips in the binding mounting area—eliminating any risk of screw pull-out during landings from dropped jumps—with selected poplar wood in the tips to ensure uniform flex. With dimensions of 144-117-133 mm and a 21 m radius, the ski planes over deep powder snow with agility and bites into hard snow or wind crust with relentless edge hold thanks to its Full Sidewall vertical straight edges. Its Tip & Tail Rocker profile with traditional camber underfoot provides a smooth turn initiation and instant flotation without sacrificing the bite of the central camber. Finished with the World Cup-grade P-Tex 4500 sintered base, it delivers ultra-fast glide. Supplied without bindings (flat skis), it allows high-end freeride bindings with 120 mm to 125 mm brakes to be mounted.
