The Völkl Two backcountry freeride powder skis (ref. 113330, length 176 cm) are sold as loose skis without bindings included (flat format for custom drilling and mounting in a workshop). They are the equivalent of an all-terrain competition buggy with a multi-tubular chassis, long suspension travel and wide dune tires: exceptionally agile for pivoting and sliding through deep powder, forgiving when absorbing uneven terrain and natural jumps, and designed so the skier can surf untouched slopes and forest clearings with instant float and complete freedom of movement. They feature a 124 mm waist, 146-124-138 mm dimensions, a 24.2 m radius, a solid wood Multi Layer Woodcore, continuous Full Sidewall edges, Taper Shape design and a Full Rocker profile.

Freeride / Freestyle Skis

In the design of prototypes for rallies on sand and soft terrain, giving the structure a wide support base combined with rounded ends allows the vehicle to glide without forward resistance and change direction with a simple turn of the steering wheel. The Völkl Two in 176 cm (113330) applies this engineering to virgin snow slopes. Its silhouette with a 124 mm waist and continuous Full Rocker profile eliminates any risk of the tips digging in, allowing the skier to stay centered and relaxed in deep or heavy snow without quadriceps fatigue.

Its internal structure incorporates the renowned Multi Layer Woodcore: dense beech wood strips beneath the binding area to neutralize the screw pull-out stress generated by the leverage of a wide ski, combined with selected poplar wood at the ends to provide an organic feel and excellent vibration absorption. Taper Shape technology (progressively narrowed tip and tail), together with its 24.2 m radius and straight vertical Full Sidewall edges, allows it to pivot in the blink of an eye, skid to control speed in narrow chutes, and land jumps with stability both forward and in switch (backwards). Supplied without bindings (flat skis), it allows high-end freeride bindings (Marker Griffon/Jester or Look Pivot) with 125 to 130 mm brakes to be mounted.
