Skis Völkl Revolt 104 (Bindings not included) - 120442
The backcountry freestyle and freeride skis Völkl Revolt 104 (ref. 120442, length 172 cm) are supplied as loose skis without bindings included (flat format for custom drilling and workshop mounting). They are the equivalent of a short-wheelbase, high-powered, long-travel suspension rally-raid 4x4: exceptionally composed for floating over deep powder, with just the right agility for tackling natural jumps, butters and park features, and stable when carving through chopped-up or groomed snow at high speed. Designed with directional Twin Tip geometry, a 104 mm waist, 132-104-122 mm dimensions, 3D Radius Sidecut geometry (16 m central radius at 172 cm), a solid wood Multi Layer Woodcore core, continuous Full Sidewall edges and a Tip & Tail Rocker profile, they guarantee outstanding float, lively elastic pop and flawless symmetrical response both riding forward and skiing switch.

Freeride / Freestyle Skis
In high-level off-road motorsport, combining a rigid monocoque chassis with a generous track width and gas shocks with progressive response makes it possible to devour broken terrain without losing traction or upsetting the line on jumps. The Völkl Revolt 104 in 172 cm (120442) brings this mechanical concept to modern freeskiing. Born within the collaborative Built Together series, its internal structure houses the proven Multi Layer Woodcore: a longitudinal base of dense ash and beech wood beneath the binding mounting area—which eliminates the risk of screw pull-out during impacts and heavy landings—combined with dynamic poplar in the tip and tail to maintain a low moment of inertia during aerial rotations.
Its sidecut incorporates the 3D Radius Sidecut design tailored to the 172 cm length: it combines an agile central radius underfoot (16 m) for short turns and quick maneuvers in wooded areas or the park, with longer, more open radii in the tip (19 m) and tail (18 m) that provide composure and vibration-free stability when carving wide lines on open powder slopes. The Full Sidewall construction with straight vertical edges transfers pressure evenly to the steel edges on hard snow, while its Tip & Tail Rocker profile with gentle traditional camber under the boot delivers smooth turn initiation and instant float in heavy snow or deep powder. Its raised symmetrical Twin Tip tail ensures predictable handling skiing forward or in switch (backward). As it is sold without bindings (flat skis), it allows the skier to install freestyle or freeride alpine bindings (Marker Squire 11, Griffon 13 or Tyrolia Attack) mounted with 110 mm brakes.
