Freeride / Powder Skis Völkl Kiku (Without Bindings) - 113370 (170 cm)
The Völkl Kiku skis (ref. 113370, available in a 170 cm length) are supplied as loose skis without bindings included (flat format for drilling and freely mounting in the workshop). They are the equivalent of a Baja 1000-style all-terrain racing vehicle with wide, high-profile tires and long-travel suspension: born to surf and plane at top speed over deep untouched snow, effortlessly absorb bumps in chopped-up or heavy snow, and pivot with extraordinary ease. Equipped with a generous 106 mm waist, Full Rocker geometry (ELP), a laminated Multi Layer Woodcore core, reactive Powered by Carbon carbon reinforcement, and reinforced Tough Box construction, they offer immediate float and a refined, predictable ride feel on all types of off-piste slopes.

Beginning
In high-performance off-road motorsport, equipping a vehicle with a chassis featuring a balanced wheelbase, wide track dimensions and a progressive damping setup makes it possible to devour uneven terrain and soft dunes at high speed without losing directional stability or overloading the driver. The Völkl Kiku 170 cm applies this mechanical architecture to freeride and powder skiing. Inside, it houses the proven Multi Layer Woodcore, which combines dense ash and beech strips beneath the binding area to ensure an immovable screw hold, together with selected poplar in the tip and tail to maintain lightness and consistent elastic flex.
Unlike traditional skis with rigid camber, the Kiku stands out for its Full Rocker (Extended Low Profile) profile: a gentle, progressive and continuous rise from the center toward the ends that enables frictionless glide, instant transitions from skidding to carved turns, and intuitive maneuverability on open faces, couloirs and snowy forests. Its structure incorporates Powered by Carbon reinforcement through a wraparound Tough Box mesh, which provides torsional stiffness and lively response when the ski flexes, ensuring firm support on hard or crusty snow when edging. As it is sold without bindings (flat skis), it allows the skier to drill and mount bindings according to their style (centered for modern freeride or classic for deep powder) using alpine bindings (Marker Griffon 13, Jester 16) or freetouring bindings (Marker Kingpin, Duke PT) with 110 mm brakes.
