The Fischer Transalp 86 C ski set (ref. A58622) bundled with Marker Alpinist 10 tech bindings (90 mm brakes, MPN 7733W1MS) and custom-cut climbing skins is the alpine touring equivalent of an ultra-lightweight hillclimb racer: effortless uphill cadence paired with nimble, controlled downhill manners. Featuring a milled paulownia core reinforced by Carbon Stringers at a featherweight ~1100 g per ski (169 cm), it is the go-to package for efficiency-driven tourers who still demand the active runaway protection of ski brakes.
