The Völkl Blaze 86 Olive are designed for skiers seeking maximum dynamism and reactivity without a weight penalty. Sold without bindings, you have the total freedom to install an alpine setup to dominate the resort, or mount a touring binding to take full advantage of their astonishing lightness on long ascents.

Mechanically, this 86 mm model behaves like a compact rally car: very low, extremely agile, and capable of changing direction in fractions of a second. Its engine is the Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore, providing energy and stability. To ensure this structure doesn't yield under pressure, Völkl installed the Titanal Binding Platform, a 0.3 mm alloy plate located exactly under the binding area. This ensures direct force transmission and provides a highly secure retention area for the mounting screws.

The "power steering" is handled by the acclaimed 3D Radius Sidecut geometry. By combining three different turning radii, the ski reads your intentions: allowing long, stable curves or pivoting on a dime. Furthermore, the Suspension Tips & Tails rubber inserts filter out the vibrations of choppy snow, keeping the ski glued to the surface.
