All-Mountain Skis Völkl Yumi 84 (Without Bindings) - 122418 (161 cm)
The Völkl Yumi 84 skis (ref. 122418, in 161 cm length) are sold as standalone skis without bindings included (flat format for custom drilling and workshop mounting). They are the equivalent of a balanced, finely tuned compact sports coupé: agile, responsive, intuitive when initiating turns, and with impeccable grip on groomed hardpack, spring snow, or gentle off-piste terrain. Designed as a versatile all-mountain model with dynamic yet accessible performance (unisex in capability), they feature an 84 mm waist, 3D Radius Sidecut geometry, Multi Layer Woodcore laminated core, Glass Frame torsional reinforcement, and continuous Full Sidewall vertical sidewalls. With a low weight of only ~1480 g per ski, they offer immediate edge-to-edge transitions and smooth handling that does not tire the legs throughout the day.

All-Mountain Skis
In automotive engineering focused on agile handling without ride fatigue, reinforcing the chassis with elastic fiber composites on a lightweight platform makes it possible to absorb road imperfections while maintaining a clean line through corners. The Völkl Yumi 84 161 cm brings this technical solution to all-mountain skiing. Its mechanical core is formed by the Multi Layer Woodcore, which combines dense strips beneath the mounting area to ensure unwavering binding screw retention, with lighter selected woods in the tip and tail to achieve responsive flex and lively turn release.
Instead of using heavy full metal plates, it incorporates Glass Frame technology: a wraparound fiberglass frame that channels torsional stiffness directly to the edges, delivering powerful grip on hard snow while retaining accessible, forgiving flex. Its great maneuverability comes from the 3D Radius Sidecut system (with radii of 21 m in the tip, 14 m underfoot, and 19 m in the tail for this 161 cm length): this triple curvature allows effortless linking of short, tight turns or laying the ski over at speed in wide turns with impeccable stability. Its Tip & Tail Rocker profile with traditional camber underfoot facilitates natural turn initiation and smooth flotation in soft snow. As it is supplied without bindings (flat skis), it allows the skier to install alpine bindings (such as Marker Squire 11 or Griffon 13) or versatile systems, selecting 90 mm brakes.
