Its internal architecture features the Multi Layer Woodcore, a layered combination of dense ash wood under the binding for complete screw retention and lightweight poplar in the tip and tail for smooth, responsive edging.

Unlike competition skis with full double metal plates, the Yumi incorporates Titanal Band technology: a longitudinal strip of Titanal alloy running along the ski’s central axis that provides just the right amount of vibration damping and firm directional stability on hard snow, while preserving a forgiving, compliant flex. Its Tip & Tail Rocker profile with traditional camber under the boot ensures secure support on groomed snow while making turn transitions and float in spring snow or soft powder more agile. Supplied without bindings (flat skis), it allows you to choose and custom-mount alpine bindings (Marker Squire 11, Griffon 13) or lightweight touring bindings, selecting compatible 85 mm or 90 mm brakes.
